Our Story

Inspired by this little lady, aka, my granddaughter Abby, I created this brand originally because I found a love for beautiful soft baby clothes and because what I ultimately wanted, was to create something where I could have both an impact in the marketplace, as well as an impact on others. Abby & Oli is a conscious brand and we are just getting started with this impact. This part of our story is still unfolding, but started with the fabrics and processes we chose in bringing these pieces to life, and continued with the relationships we've made with our manufacturing partners and their staff, and finally, to our desire to give back to organizations that support vulnerable children. As a former foster parent and adoptive parent, I saw first hand how significant disadvantages in a child's life such as hunger and the lack of basic safety and support can have negative results in their feeling of security and confidence. This affects their futures as adults in a big way. If I can contribute to alleviating those challenges and impact even just one child's life, then I have done what I set out to do. My dreams are much bigger than that, though!!  I believe it is ok to say that I have so much more to learn, but those lessons will only make our brand better and stronger. Our tagline "Children LIving Beautifully," is about all that and so much more! So follow along with us on our journey as we continue with our plan to have a soft impact on the planet and an enormous impact on the people and communities we serve.
